So around the same time as our Mr M released NS II, James Taylor released his new album 'American Standards'.
Surprisingly, I just discovered this. What can I say it has been a busy year.
Anyway, link:

while I have loved them both for forever, their styles are def different.
That said, I could totally see Mr M singing some of these songs.
In fact, Mr M has sung "Moon River", and I just listened to him sing it again and now I need to hurry up and finish this and go find the handsome hubs
(mine, not Mr M's.)
My sweet hubs has no idea how much Mr M has fueled our sexytimes. Mr M is to girls what Viagra is to guys, am I right ladies? anyway, that'll stay our little secret here at alt.fan)
Returning to topic...from the JT tracklist:
My Blue Heaven
Almost Like Being in Love
The Nearness of You
My Heart Stood Still
and maybe
It's Only A Paper Moon
I could totally see Mr M knocking these out of the park.
I find it curious that as performers get older they seem to turn to the old standards, and I can't help but wonder why that is.
now let's have another listen to Mr M sing 'Moon River'...and...good night
: )
