Well, live blogging whilst watching DVR. Worked today and have been looking forward to ending my day with Mr M. Let's get started!

Fast forwarding through Mueller recap - Trump evidently claims victory. Of course he does. And his base - the Trumpies - don't read or listen to anything other than Fox news, so whatever.....USA! USA! Asshats.

....the North Korea shit show.......Trumpie's bestie evidently has lobbed a couple missiles into the Sea of Japan.

National Intern Day....I did not know this was a thing. July 1st is when we get new Residents at my hospital, which is - generally speaking - not fun. These people look like they are having fun. And cupcakes!
Note to self: submit proposal to my Medical Director to require all new Residents to bring cupcakes to the staff.

Chatting with Robin Roberts. He looks good, dark suit, dark shirt, no tie. Mr M wears some great jackets. His shoulders look almost as good as the hubs. Anywaaaay, he's still marveling at the length of his career. Baby, we'll keep on coming as long as you keep on performing.

A clip of Bella Hadid with Mr M singing along to Copa. Random! But, she's the step daughter of David Foster and Mr M's been produced by him. David Foster was married to one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Yolanda somebody, who is Bella Hadid's mother. Are you following that? And, nope, I'm not embarrassed to know this shit, why do you ask?

Anyway, no clue as to why they ran that clip, unless Mr M owes David Foster a favor or something. Seriously I watched that clip a couple times and still have no idea what that was about. Robin Robert's intro was merely "And here you are with Bella Hadid". What? Why? And Mr M referred to that audience as "sophisticated". Excuse me, aren't Fanilows "sophisticated"? I wore my reindeer antlers to your show last December and if that's not fucking sophisticated I don't know what is !

Next question: Does he have a favorite song? Nope. Actual quote:
"they're all my children". Really, Erica Kane?
But wait, CIBM may be his favorite. He wrote it in a dream. Romantic!

FF.....and here we go.....MR M singing Copa. In great voice. Looks great, as previously mentioned. OMG I miss seeing Mr M! Hopefully he'll be back in FLorida by year's end. The backups look great; the ladies are wearing tasteful LBDs. Mr M is wearing the wedding ring. : )

Copa is really Mr M's brand, although we'd all agree I'm sure it's not our collective favorite here at Alt.fan.

Man he looks genuinely happy though. Audience of course is very psyched.

Aaaand that's it......MR M is on stage with the whole GMA crew bidding us good day. Next up: Strahan and Sara.

What album or song did David Foster produce?

I saw him in concert a couple years ago and he listed everyone he's ever worked with, and which ex-wife got the royalties for those efforts when they split.

He never mentioned Barry. My memory for stinks for trivia like that.

It was 1 of the previously unreleased tracks (by Barry anyway; David Foster & Olivia Newton-John previously did a duet version, with a verse Barry didn’t sing, on the David Foster album. I think that was from back in the 1980’s) on Barry’s The Complete Collection ...And Then Some boxed set.

I didn't (and still don't) see where the song was ID'd in this thread. Kenny Rogers also recorded TBOM with an arrangement VERY similar to Barry's version. As a matter of fact, the string arrangement on both recordings was by Jeremy Lubbock.

I meant ID’d as in “identified/named”. You gave the song title, after someone else asked what David Foster song Barry did. I provided the additional info that the song was a previously unreleased track on Barry’s boxed set, The Complete Collection ...And Then Some (however the title’s punctuated), & it was also recorded, & at least something of a hit, as a duet by David Foster & Olivia Newton-John, with a verse Barry didn’t sing in his version. The duet was released sometime in the 1980’s, I think, on David’s album titled David Foster; it was also released on Olivia’s compilation album titled Gold, released in 2005.
