95.5 WPLJ Radio To Go Off The Air At The End Of May

95.5 WPLJ is going off the air after almost 50 years. I almost can't believe it. It's been on the air my entire life. This station has ALWAYS been very supportive of Barry. I won several WPLJ contests to Barry listening parties, including the True Romance Dance. It certainly is the end of an era.

My husband and I attended the True Romance Dance too. It was a wonderful opportunity to see Barry & piano in an intimate setting.

Definitely the end of an era. But terrestrial radio just has too much competition.
